Stillness is DIFFICULT for me
I’ve always been a super fidgety person. I’m high-energy, can’t sit still, always moving, both mentally and physically. Work has been non-stop busy lately and it’s super easy to get overwhelmed and stressed in the moment. I have the words "be still and know" tattooed in Latin on my wrist for exactly this reason: to remind myself to take a deep breath and remember to be still, and know that God is in control. So in the aftermath of a busy, chaotic day at work, and in the midst of car problems and financial worries, I took this self portrait to remind myself of exactly that.
Be still and know that He is God
